  • Professor Rachel Ann Mills FRSC Senior Vice President, King's College London. For services to Marine Science. 
  • Professor Terry K Smith CChem FRSC, Director of Biomedical Sciences Research Complex (BSRC) University of St Andrews. For services to disease research.

OBE

  • Professor Matt Rosseinsky FRS FRSC, from the University of Liverpool, Department of Chemistry and Materials Innovation Factory, for services to materials chemistry research and innovation.
  • Professor Dudley Edmund Shallcross CChem FRSC. Lately Chief Executive Officer, Primary Science Teaching Trust, Bristol. For services to Education.
