Biography

I am a cosmetics safety assessor and I help business owners to ensure their products are safe and compliant so that they can sell their products legally in the UK and EU.

I have expertise around cosmetic ingredients and their toxicological profiles so that I can carry out calculations on Margin of Safety to provide a risk assessment document called a Cosmetic Product Safety Report.

I also know what limits there are on specific ingredients that could be used in a cosmetic product and can advise business owners and manufacturers what changes are required in their formulations so that their products comply with the legislation, and are safe for sale.
