This module provides an introduction to liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry (LC-MS) providing an overview of the analytes and samples analysed using the technique.

The course looks at the basics of separation, providing an overview of the GC system and the chromatogram.

This module is taught live in a virtual classroom through interactive, instructor-led training with instrument parts and consumables shown and explained. Small group sizes with plenty of opportunities to ask questions through live Q&A.

This is module 1 of the Virtual Classroom Training: Practical Essentials of HPLC & LC-MS (total 18 hours over 5 days) and the Virtual Classroom Training: Complete GC & GC-MS (total 34 hours over 9 days).

Prerequisites

This course is for those who have a basic knowledge of liquid chromatography and would like an overview of the technique before learning each part in more detail.
